Black Opal True Color Stick Foundation Review & Swatches On Darker Skin Tone

Black Opal Stick Foundation was my very first foundation and also bought with my money. I used it for many years (meaning it as been of existence for years now) until I started taking my makeup game seriously and started branching out to other makeup brands such as Sleek and so on. I was currently looking for an affordable makeup brand that has various undertones for warmer skin tone to start up my make up kit, that’s the main reason to do a TBT, well after doing my research I decided to go with Black Opal.

How To Apply, Tips & Tricks

  1. Before applying any foundation, you always have to apply a Primer if you are oily/combination skin type you have to use a mattifing primer BUT if you do have dry skin type I will recommend a basic primer or just regular moisturizer as this foundation tends to oil up later on the day.
  2. If you suffer from discoloration or achny, I will suggest you apply a bit of the foundation unto your finger tips, then blend it in unto the skin in a dabbing motion to your problem areas before applying it all over the face.
  3. Beauty blender is the best for applying a creamy/liquid type of foundation BUT if your like me that just cant stop using a brush, always make the beauty blender or brush damp with a setting spray before you start blending into the skin. This will give you more of a natural/skin like finish.
